FAQ & STUDIO POLICY

  • Phones, audio/visual recording devices, and personal belongings, including shoes, are not permitted in our practice space.

    Before entering the practice space, please leave all personal belongings in one of the open shelf cubbies. If you have a smartwatch, remember to silence it prior to the start of class. Phones left in the cubby room should also be silenced or turned off.

    The practice room is a sacred space, and we kindly ask that you respect the space and others around you before, during, and after the class.

    1. Respect and Community Care

    Treat all instructors, staff, and fellow students with kindness and respect.

    2. Code of Ethics

    Any individual that enters the space is expected to uphold integrity and personal accountability. This includes:

    • Practicing honesty and respect in all interactions

    • Respecting personal boundaries—physical, emotional, and social

    • Avoiding disruptive, aggressive, or harmful behavior

    • Supporting a safe and inclusive environment

    3. Anti-Harassment Policy

    Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Harassment includes unwelcome behavior that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment, whether verbal, physical, or nonverbal.

    4. Sexual Harassment Policy

    Sexual harassment is strictly prohibited. Consent and personal boundaries must always be respected.

    5. Anti-Discrimination Policy

    WalkGood LA is committed to providing an inclusive environment free from discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or any other characteristic. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

    6. Professional Boundaries

    Maintain appropriate boundaries with instructors, staff, and fellow students.

    8. Health and Safety

    Practice within your personal limits and inform instructors of any injuries or medical conditions. Follow all safety instructions and studio guidelines.

    9. Respect for Space and Property

    Treat studio facilities, equipment, and shared spaces with care. Help maintain cleanliness and order.

    10. Reporting and Accountability

    Any witnessed violation of this Code of Conduct and Ethics must be reported to WalkGood LA leadership. Reports will be handled with discretion and seriousness.

  • Yes, programs at The WalkGood Yard are donation-based, meaning you can participate at no cost and have the option to donate to support the program. Your support helps keep our programs accessible and offered at the highest level of quality.

    Our programs are open to all ages!

  • Thank you for your support! You can make a tax-deductible donation by clicking HERE or texting WALKGOOD to 53-555.

    We do not accept cash donations.

  • Due to limited parking, we recommend that you arrive at the studio space at least 15-20 minutes ahead of start time. Classes start on time. Entry to the class is not allowed 5 minutes past the start time of the class.

  • We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. There is a lost & found designation you can ask about.

  • If you visit the studio for a class, we recommend you always bring a yoga mat. However, if you forget or do not have one, you may borrow a studio mat for the duration of the class. Additional accessories are provided.

    Any equipment used during class, including mats, are expected to be cleaned by the user at the end of class. Thank you!

  • Studio programs are limited to about 50 attendees. Space is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.

    The Zen Den holds space for up to 15 attendees.

  • There is limited street parking available on Pico Blvd, Norton Ave, and surrounding street ways. Classes start on time. If you can, we recommend biking, ride-share, and carpooling. We are actively working on providing additional convenient options. DO NOT park in the back lot or any parking lots. We are not responsible for towed vehicles.

  • No, while we require every attendee to RSVP in order to participate, your RSVP does not guarantee entry. We fill the studio space until full. Thank you for understanding!

  • Every Wednesday 6:30PM. All levels and ages are welcome. Walking option offered. Join us on Strava for details.

  • We love your pet, but unfortunately pets are not allowed in the studio. Exceptions may be made for service animals. Thank you for understanding!
