FilmGood Fridays, an initiative from WalkGood LA’s FilmGood organization and festival dedicated to celebrating independent and underrepresented filmmakers, creators, and artists of color, is thrilled to continue its repertory screening program, themed "Quarter Century Series: A Celebration of Cult Classics from the ‘99 and the 2000," at The WalkGood Yard. We will be screening the classic Scary Movie and spotlighting a short film to highlight local LA filmmaker, Ryan DeForeest.

From 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., move through an accessible yoga practice and soothing sound bath. Mar's class is filled with Egyptian style belly dancing, affirmations, great hits and good vibes. In this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of belly dance and get a chance to practice many variations of each movement in different combinations. Class is high energy and challenging, but in the most beautiful way possible. There’s no aiming for perfection, instead the goal is to progress and get more comfortable as the class goes on. All levels are welcome and no experience is required. Mar just asks that you come ready to have fun and let loose.

There will be a live band and in true open mic fashion, you will have a chance to throw your name into the hat to perform at some point during the night.
