Welcome to the next iteration of RunGood. Introducing Saturday morning runs and walks + Marathon Training.

Every mile tells a story.

RunGood Saturdays are where the WalkGood LA Run Club builds endurance, strength, and community on the road to the LA Marathon — and beyond. Whether you’re training for 26.2, the half, the 5K or simply love the joy of running, this program is for everyone. Each Saturday, we will come together for long runs that challenge the body and strengthen the mind. Beyond the miles, the program provides guidance on diet, recovery, and overall wellness to help you perform your best while staying healthy and injury-free. Together, we move, recover, and grow as a community, supporting one another every step of the way. For the first Saturday run of the season, we invite everyone out to meet our Saturday run captains and learn more about the training program as we collectively prepare for the LA marathon. Long runs will take us across different routes in LA to keep the scenery, terrain and miles varying.

TUNE INTO YOU (Workshop with Morgan Lynzi)

RSVP

In 2025, the rules have changed. The voices shaping culture today are doing it by harnessing social media and showing up radically authentic, elevating underrepresented voices, values-driven, and deeply community-minded. TUNE INTO YOU is an immersive workshop designed for this new era—where your point of view is your most valuable asset. Whether you're a creator, artist, entrepreneur, or visionary, you’ll learn how to shape your story into a brand that builds cultural capital, unlocks aligned partnerships, resources, and opportunity, and makes impact. The bonus of creative alignment? The inner evolution of this journey of public offering sparks. In this workshop, we’ll co-create in real time. You’ll bring your questions and projects, and Morgan brings creative direction, intuitive strategy, and conversation that helps you find your north star.

Our focus will be on:

● BECOMING THE BRAND: Crafting a clear, magnetic brand story rooted in your intentions, values, and goals

● HOLISTIC CREATION: Tools to build a visibility and content strategy that supports your nervous system—not one that burns you out

● UNBLOCK YOUR INFLUENCE: Guidance for moving through visibility fears and self-expression blocks (hi, fear!)

● MAKING IT REAL: Real-time Q&A to work through big questions, personal projects, and your approach to social media and community building.

Led by Morgan Lynzi, a viral multifaceted storyteller, creative director, and cultural disruptor—this experience brings together branding, cultural strategy, intuitive storytelling, and 360 alignment to help you build a presence people deeply connect with, follow, and invest in.

Wordplay: Creative Writing Workshop

Wordplay: Creative Writing Workshop

Join us on a monthly basis for group exercises, solo reflections and big dreaming at Wordplay, a creative writing workshop brought to you by Treats.. This late morning to early afternoon session is a reclamation of words as a tool for delight.  For generations, we have used words to share stories, express ourselves and build worlds we can only imagine. But something that’s been co-opted in the name of logistics, used at work to “promote synergy” and occasionally disappears all together with the use of emojis has lost a bit of its sparkle in our everyday practice.  Meet us in the Zen Den to re-discover the joy and healthy challenge of dancing with language in community. No experience necessary! Expect an easy, open atmosphere and enjoy a mocktail on us upon arrival. All supplies will be provided.

Jazz in the groove yard - the don brown collective

The Don Brown Collective presents: jazz in the groove yard. DBC is back at the Walk Good Yard for an evening of live jazz — for one night only. Join us Sunday September 14 at __pm

The Don Brown Collective was founded by drummer Don Brown of South Central, LA. The Collective is a powerhouse 7-piece jazz ensemble featuring some of LA’s top musicians: Chris Powe on Alto Saxophone, Tatiana Tate on Trumpet, Ronnie Heard III on Tenor Saxophone, Isaac Green on Upright Bass, Mike Isacs on Guitar, Wendell Phipps on Keys and Don Brown on Drums. These LA natives formed the Collective to bring live jazz to community spaces outside of traditional venues, celebrate their musical chemistry as friends, and to nourish the art of jazz performance.

Decolonized History of Divine Wisdom

Decolonized History of Divine Wisdom

RSVP

As Dr. John Henrik Clarke said, “A people’s relationship to their heritage is the same as the relationship of a child to its mother.” This workshop is a call to return to the Mother — to our roots, our wisdom, and our rightful place in the spiritual lineage of humanity. Through the lens of ancient civilizations like Kemet, the Indus Valley, and the Toltec, we’ll explore what it truly means to be spiritual, not religious. This distinction is key: while religion often comes with dogma and colonized frameworks, spirituality invites direct connection to the divine, rooted in ancestral memory and natural law.

Our goal is to reconnect with our inner knowing passed down through sacred systems of order, harmony, and cosmic balance. Through a presentation, journaling, and discussion, we'll unpack hidden histories. We’ll also explore the shared spiritual technologies of ancient cultures. These practices, once stripped of colonial filters, reveal an ancestral system of liberation that has been revealed to us all.

By the end of this workshop this wisdom will provide insight to any relationship you are struggling with.
